I woke up with the song Be Still by Kari Jobe playing in my head. It's such a great song that I just had to post on the blog.
And in other news, my Uncle Stan is being released from the hospital tomorrow. I pray that tomorrow be the start of a new beginning for Uncle Stan, his daughters and our whole family. One thing I know for sure is that if we seek Him, we will find Him, when we seek Him with all of our heart. (Jeremiah 29:13) To God be the glory great things He hath done.
Here is the video, enjoy!

Song In My Head: I Surrender All
I woke up singing this song this morning and had a moment of weakness but all is good now. My Heavenly Father has filled me.
When I saw this video I thought of two things.
1) The trees look like what I imagine the Twilight forest to look like, can't wait to see the movie this weekend!
2) When I was a young chap at Airport Freeway, the church would sing "I Surrender All" as the invitational song. This song scared me as a little girl because I knew someone was about to "get dunked." I would crawl into my mom or dad's lap and cover my head until the "dunking" was over. Many years later I learned that the dunking is a beautiful part to the Christian walk and now I cry tears of joy for the dunkee.
I surrender all! I surrender all!
And one last thing totally not relevent to this post...

Don't Worry Be Happy
Here is another song that has been playing in my head these days. I love this song and the video is quite funny and very 80's.
Good words to live by, don't you think?
Here is another good word to live by, one that has carried me through many ups and downs. Worth clinging to if you ask me.
Phillipians 4:6-9
"6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
